Robert and Laura from Fairfields Farm explain about their crisps....
"We're the couple who love to make crisps. So let me switch off the tractor and tell you a bit about ourselves.
The best crisps need the best potatoes. We grow ours in the Colne Valley, Essex - it's really nice here - you should drop round some time. Our potatoes are grown in fertile soils and we let nature do her bit. If they need a bit of help then some words of encouragement generally helps. Each potato is hand selected and washed leaving their jackets on, then pan-fried in sunflower oil to make sure that only the best crisps end up in your bag.
And by the way, the flavour and crunchiness of our special crisps have been based on what you told us you liked. In fact we let our customers decide what we do next, so let us know what you think.
